Currently, the annual production targets to extend the production amount up to one million units per year by 2030. Still expanding Hyundai’s global sales forecast lower by 6%, plans to launch four new EV models in South Asia by 2030.
Creta’s India Centric Features
Upon its inception in July, 2015, Creta was engineered to incorporate attributes such that appeals to Indian market standards like more space behind the seats to accommodate the family oriented lifestyle. Due to Indian roads the SUV features a high bumper and offers an air purifying system for better air inside the car.

Hyundai Motors has registered car deliveries at the highest level within the Indian market in the first half i.e. during Jan-June 2024. The company also plans to achieve sales of 605,000 units by the end of 2024 in India. In a bid to extend a strong hold within the Indian automotive business, Hyundai purchased the automotive manufacturing unit of General Motors in Pune in 2023. It is in the process of being developed into a smart plant that will produce 200000 units per year.
EV Infrastructure and Battery Production
To cater the Indian market by 2030, Hyundai has aimed to install 485 EV charging stations all over.
