Raptee.HV launches T30, India’s first high-voltage electric motorcycle offering superior performance, advanced features & nationwide expansion plans.
Chennai based EV startup, RAPtee.HV has launched the T30 model – the first high voltage electric motorcycle in India with a price of Rs 2,39,000.This motorcycle concept applies electric car technology features for powerful performance with low heat emission.
High-Voltage Technology and Universal Charging
High Voltage technology introduced with T30 is compatible with 13,500 CCS2 car charging stations across India and this figure is likely to double soon. To avoid complications of charging, they are installed with an onboard charger that is customised for use at these stations.
Performance and Features
The T30 has an IDC range of about 200 km and a realistic typical range in excess of 150 km for every charge. The car mainly achieves a 0-60 kmph acceleration in 3.5 seconds. It features an IP67-rated battery pack for safety and has an 8 years, 80,000km battery warranty. Motorcycle software and the Android-based custom-built operating system derived from automotive grade Linux ensure a glide. In detail, the new model comes with four exciting color options, namely Horizon Red, Arctic White, Mercury Grey, and Eclipse Black.
Expansion Strategies and Customer Objectives
The T30s will be launched in Chennai and Bangalore by January 2025 at the earliest with expansion depending on the market. Raptee.HV intends to build a factory demonstration store, Tech Store.HV in Chennai to showcase experiences such as Factory Tours. The firm’s strategic direction involves serving brick and mortar stores along with direct to consumer platforms.
Vision and Growth Strategy
Co-founder and CEO Dinesh Arjun has called the T30 a ‘game-changer’ that would help set benchmarks in two-wheeler electrification. Chief Business Officer Jayapradeep says that there is immense opportunity in the two-wheeler segment within India.
Funding and Future Plans
Raptee.HV which has recently completed the Pre-Series A funding by Bluehill Capital will help the firm to scale up production and dealership. The firm is close to successfully financing its Series A round, which will be a primary driver for the expansion and deployment of the T30 in India.
