The ZELIO Eeva 2025 top-end lithium-ion model gives a 120 km range and is priced at ₹69,000, and the entry-level gel battery offers an 80 km range at ₹50,000.
ZELIO E Mobility debuted the upgraded version of their successful low-speed electric scooter, the Eeva, on Tuesday (July 8, 2025). The updated model receives fresh design upgrades, increased performance, and first-rate features that make daily commutes more comfortable and accessible. The redesigned Eeva is also available in three models, starting at ₹50,000 (ex-showroom).
Key Specification
Depending on the variant, the revamped Eeva now gets a maximum range of 120 kilometres. Customers get the choice to choose from the lithium-ion and gel battery options. The top-end lithium-ion variant (74V/32AH) delivers a 120 km range and is priced at ₹69,000, while the entry-level gel battery alternative (60V/32AH) offers an 80 km range for ₹50,000.
Here’s a quick look at the key variant-wise options:
- Li-ion 60V/30AH: 90–100 km range – ₹64,000
- Li-ion 74V/32AH: 120 km range – ₹69,000
- Gel 60V/32AH: 80 km range – ₹50,000
- Gel 72V/42AH: 100 km range – ₹54,000
Charging time depends on the type of battery, i.e., lithium-ion batteries take around 4 hours for a full charge, while gel batteries require between 8 to 10 hours.
Designed for Everyday City Travel
The Eeva 2025 comes with a top speed of 25 km/hr, and it is primarily built for short urban rides. This qualifies the EV for license-free use, which is great for first-time users, school students, and gig economy workers. It is lightweight and compact, weighing 85 kg, yet it is capable of hauling up to 150 kg.
The EV also features a 12-inch alloy wheel with 90.90-12 tires and drum brakes, hydraulic shock absorbers that perform suspension functions to improve ride comfort on uneven urban streets, and has a ground clearance of 150 mm for reliability.
Smart Features & Added Convenience
The facelift also included:
- A digital instrument cluster
- Keyless ignition
- USB charging port
- Daytime running lights (DRL)
- An anti-theft alarm
- Parking gear and passenger footrest
Customers also get to choose from the four different colour variants: blue, grey, white, and black, which keep the distinctive design identity of the original model but have a sleeker look.
Warranty & Expanding Dealer Support
ZELIO gets a two-year warranty on the scooter and a one-year warranty on the battery, depending on the type you choose, the lithium-ion or gel. The company currently has over 400 dealerships across India and wants to expand to 1,000 by the end of the year.
Company’s Take
Kunal Arya, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ZELIO E Mobility, noted that the facelift model represents the company’s ongoing efforts to increase the accessibility of electric mobility. “The new Eeva is designed to meet the practical needs of daily riders—offering comfort, safety, and value—while staying within reach of the average consumer,” he said to me.
With fuel costs rising and interest in sustainable transportation growing, the updated ZELIO Eeva 2025 makes its debut at a perfect time. It meets all of the criteria for a practical, hassle-free electric scooter designed for urban India.
