Vayve Eva is set to be displayed during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, as eco-friendly commuting will be made possible in urban areas.
Vayve Mobility will demonstrate its electric vehicle entry Eva, an innovative three-seater, during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 oil organised in New Delhi from January 17 – 22. This is India’s first solar-powered electric car to meet the requirements of practical use by urban commuters with eco-friendliness.
Solar Power Advantage
The speciality of Vayve Eva is solar charging. The roof-mounted solar panel acts also as a panoramic sunroof; the Eva can thus charge its battery from sunlight as well as driving. Such an unusual form of the vehicle will be able to benefit 3,000 additional kilometres annually through solar energy, which is about a 10-kilometres-a-day benefit. Eva can also be charged through typical electrical outlets for those who desire a little bit of a quick boost.
Specifications and Design
The compact and efficient Eva Vayve has a length of 3,060 mm, a width of 1,150 mm, and a height of 1,590 mm; it boasts a 2,200 mm wheelbase that provides stability and comfort. The vehicle dimensions are slightly larger than that of the MG Comet EV, setting the pace for driving in the city while keeping the ability to manoeuvre into tight spaces. All these features make it ideal for city driving.
The Eva is also available in some dramatic shades: Moonstone White, Light Platinum, Rose Coral, Sky Blue, Champagne Gold, and Cherry Red. Not just that, the design is a very modern aerodynamic quadricycle to increase the performance ratio as well as desirability.
Interior Features
Inside Eva is where convenience meets efficient modernity. The cabin is designed with driver visibility, featuring:
- A dual digital display setup with touch capabilities.
- Smartphone connectivity via Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
- Six-way seat adjustments to accommodate maximum comfort in driving.
- Climate control for driving.
- For ease of use, remote checks and diagnostics are part of the vehicle.
- Software updates over the air so the software is current.
- Maximum seating capacity – 3 passengers: 1 driver and 1 bench for an adult and a child.
Performance and Range
The Vayve Eva’s heart is its liquid-cooled battery, which has a capacity of 14 kWh and is claimed to provide a range of up to 250 km on a full charge. The add-on includes a rear-wheel drive (RWD) motor that provides a torque of 40 Nm, which allows it to accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in five seconds only. The maximum speed is limited to 70 km/h, making it most suitable for city commuting.
Charging options are plenty; the Eva can be charged with:
- A normal AC socket achieves an 80% charge in about 4 hours.
- A DC fast charger in just 45 minutes.
- As well as give a run of about 50 kilometres added on a five-minute charge only.
Cost Efficiency
If there is anything that can ever bring such a balance in affordability, the Vayve Eva goes one step further. Most petrol-using cars operate at around ₹5 per kilometre, while Eva runs at a little less than ₹0.5 for every kilometre, astonishing 90% savings on running costs. The lightweight alone saves on energy.
Carrying with it the hope of future sustainable urban transport, Vayve Eva has futuristic solar charging, modern features, and affordable running; it will surely help resolve all routine issues of city commuters such as the scarcity of parking and long queues at charging stations. Pre-launch bookings for this innovative electric vehicle will later begin in January 2025. Expectations are intense as to how green and practical an electric vehicle can be with the competition.
Vayve Mobility will be the audience at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where the startup will roll out the Eva, the latest electric vehicle that will bring new hope to commuters in urban settings.
