Ultraviolette Tesseract now has 50,000 bookings. Loaded with tech, it’s available with three battery sizes and advanced safety.
One electric scooter that has created considerable buzz lately, is the Tesseract by Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer, Ultraviolette. Bookings were available the day of the unveiling, and the company broke a record with over 50,000 reservations within days. The unexpressed demand is testament to the growing market sentiment towards introduction of global electric vehicles in India.
That said, the introductory price was ₹1.2 lakh for the Tesseract, the brand has extended the introductory price to an additional 30,000 bookings, rounding out a welcome first season for the company. Delivery of the scooter will start in the 1st quarter of 2026 and is set to herald a new era in e-mobility.
Battery Options
The motorcycle receives three battery options for the Ultraviolette Tesseract, 3.5kWh, 5kWh, and also 6kWh. These options should appeal to a diverse range of users everything from daily commuters to performance enthusiasts seeking increased range and power.
At its heart sits an impressive electric motor producing 20.1bhp of power and ample amounts of torque, meaning acceleration isn’t a problem. Here, the motor provides a smooth and dynamic ride even in heavy traffic. Ultraviolette’s approach of providing multiple battery options allows riders to select a model that best suits their lifestyle and usage patterns.
Eye-Catching Colours
In order to cater to a larger audience, the Tesseract is available in three burning, unique colours Desert Sand, Sonic Pink, and Stealth Black. Adding color to the high-voltage scooter’s body, each shade tells a different story.
Desert Sand drips in class, Sonic Pink is for the brash amongst us, those who need to make a statement, while Stealth Black is class, without the fanfare. Ultraviolette builds its colour palette to please every palate.
Feature Packed
The Ultraviolette Tesseract comes with an extensive list of premium features. The dual radars with front and rear cameras are one of its highlights. These empower advanced functions such as blind spot detection, overtake notifications, and collision alerts, making them tremendously valuable in elevating rider safety and situational awareness. The Tesseract also boasts an equally impressive lighting system. Daytime/nighttime riding wouldn’t be a problem with dual LED-projector headlamps with floating LED DRLs.
One of the major highlights of the Tesseract is the huge TFT touchscreen display. This is the command center of the scooter, offering ride analytics, navigation, music control and smartphone connectivity. The UI is intuitive and easy for riders on the move to access important information.
Ultraviolette also pays attention to convenience. The Tesseract is also likely to come with keyless entry, park assist, hill-hold assist, and cruise control. So, these features are making riding a lot easier with luxury and comforts in daily commutes.
Safety First
The Tesseract is equipped with safety features from the ground up, with a robust structure formed using high-strength steel tubing and aluminum casting for a solid body shell. The scooter runs on 14-inch diameter wheels with front and rear disc brakes for strong stopping power. The company also offers dual-channel ABS which helps avoid wheel locking while braking, promising better control in panic situations.
Tesseract’s security systems go beyond conventional braking systems. This is still a high-tech machine, with a traction control system and dynamic stability control. Scooters with these systems have a much better grip and balance when used in any weather, including slippery or uneven roads, making them safer to ride.
Performance Specifications
Equipped with a powerful electric motor paired with a selection of battery choices, the Tesseract delivers an exhilarating but efficient ride. The scooter is made to excel in city traffic and cover long open roads. With its blend of performance, range, and high-end capabilities, the Tesseract looks to be a formidable player in the EV two-wheeler space.
Not only does the potent motor provide great acceleration when climbing and navigating obstacles, but the Tesseract also makes it up very steep inclines with minimal effort. Expect a balance of this power and efficiency to change the way of commuting.
Market Impact
A gamechanger for the electric two-wheeler market in India Delivering on all of that with the latest technology and top-notch safety features at an aggressive price, Ultraviolette hopes to rival traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) scooters as well as other EVs in its class.
The Ather electric scooter also boasts a phenomenal booking number, confirming enthusiasm & acceptance of electric modes of transport. With more infrastructure and subsidies available to help support EV adoption, the likes of Tesseract will receive just more demand.
The Ultraviolette F77 is more than an electric scooter; it’s a testament to the drive for sustainable mobility. Electric motorcycle is a rapidly growing domain, yet this is not what makes it one of the most relevant headlines: from high-tech features, powerful specs bio, and road safety philosophy.
The Tesseract, deliveries of which are expected to begin in early 2026, set a high bar for its competitors. Ultraviolette’s foray into the disruptive world of electric scooters will disrupt the segment for a new era of electric vehicle adoption across the country.
