Toyota intends to bring its Urban Cruiser EV model to India after designing it from the e-Vitara platform. Check out the specifications and innovative features.
The upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser EV serves as a rebadged version of the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara that Toyota is preparing to launch in the Indian market. Approximately two battery pack options will be available for the Toyota Urban Cruiser EV 49kWh and 61kWh5. The front axle-drive 144hp and 189Nm torque powertrain will use the smaller battery pack. The model equipped with a front-mounted motor provides increased power of 174hp and 189Nm of torque while using the larger battery pack. The expected AWD version of the e-Vitara should utilize a 61kWh battery to power its rear axle-mounted 65hp motor.
When it comes to the AWD model the total power reaches 184hp and the torque output hits 300Nm of torque. Two versions of front-wheel drive power the range with 144 and 174 horsepower output. The AWD version of this model delivers a power output of 184 hp together with 300 Nm of torque23. Users of this vehicle can expect an automatic transmission functionality.
Feature Rich
The Urban Cruiser EV will integrate its Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package that contains Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist3. A split-folding function with a 40:20:40 configuration allows users to adjust the rear seats while operation includes reclining and sliding movements. Customers will find both large door pockets and conventional HVAC controls accompanying the vehicle.
