Toyota showcases it’s upcoming electric coupe SUV ahead of it’s debut on March 11 which will most likely offer numerous engine options.
Toyota is gearing up for the launch of a new electrified coupe SUV. Details on the brand’s new EV, which is set to be unveiled on March 11, remain limited. However, the new battery-powered car is expected to be smaller than the BZ4X and available exclusively in Europe. The latest teaser given by the Japanese automaker shows the vehicle’s side profile, presenting a coupe SUV silhouette similar to the Toyota bZ compact electric SUV concept, which made its debut in 2022.
Further into the details, the side of the vehicle shows the vehicle’s headlights, which appear to have been inspired by the new Prius. Furthermore, the vehicle’s back end has a sloping roofline, which is characteristic of the coupe family. In this case, it is very similar to the one found on the BZ4X.
This company has also kept secretive about the electric vehicle’s powertrain specs. However, similar to the smaller Urban Cruiser, we may expect it to have variations in battery pack sizes and motor setups. The Urban Cruiser will be available with two battery pack options: 61 kWh and 49 kWh, with a range of around 500 km on a single charge, similar to the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.
Similarly, the inside specifics have not been released, but we can expect the vehicle to be technologically advanced. For instance, it is believed to have a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a high-end sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and other features.
