The Hyundai Inster EV Cross receives a more off-road-oriented appearance
Hyundai unveiled the future Inster Cross, a tougher variation of the successful Inster EV. This new model has an adventure-inspired outdoor design, making it ideal for both city and weekend trips.
What’s On Offer?
The Hyundai Inster Cross is equipped with unique bumpers, skid plates, black cladding, and 17-inch alloy wheels. Roof racks and a roof basket are also included with the SUV. It will be available in five colours, as well as a special Amazonas Green Matte colour.
The LED-pixel concept on the front is reminiscent of the Tetris game, yet it is consistent with Hyundai’s modern design philosophy. This model’s rear door handles are located on the C-pillar, as seen in previous incarnations of the Maruti Suzuki Swift and Chevrolet Beat. The alloy pairs are 15 to 17 inches long, depending on the variation.
Features, Safety Suite
The Inster Cross’ interior features grey fabric seats and lime-yellow accents. The technology package contains two 10.25-inch digital displays: one for infotainment and one for the driver’s display. A smartphone can also function as a digital key to unlock the car.
For enhanced safety, the Hyundai Inster Cross includes Hyundai’s Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Smart Cruise Control, and a 360-degree parking camera.
Battery Packs, Range
The Inster Cross uses the same two battery packs as the standard Inster.
- Standard Range: A 42kWh battery provides a driving range of up to 300 km.
- Long Range: A larger 49kWh battery increases the range to 360 kilometres.
Both battery options have fast charging capabilities, ranging from 10% to 80% in 30 minutes.
