Okaya EV transforms into OPG Mobility, launches new offerings at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, expanding its electric vehicle range.
The name of the popular electric vehicle (EV) company in India has now become OPG Mobility. This changes its name from Okaya EV to OPG Mobility, which is going to be showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The launch of a product under the name is among the activities that the rebranding will perform. The current models will come with the new umbrella logo so that the latest fresh start for the company can be indicated.
New Identity
The new identity comes with the offer of two sub-brands: Ferrato which will cater for premium electric motorcycles and scooters, while OTTOPG will introduce electric passenger and cargo three-wheelers. Underlining the new brand consideration, the Managing Director of OPG Mobility, Anshul Gupta, emphasised this change as a reflection of modern design with future technologies to connect with the young, tech-sharp people.
Product Launch
The Bharat Mobility Expo shall observe the unveiling of the very first product falling under the newly formed brand of OPG Mobility. The event is expected to be quite significant for the company as it marks the debut of yet another entrant in the otherwise ever-increasing fray of India’s competitive EV industry. The new signature visual features black and green colours symbolising modernity and sustainability.
Market Expansion
OPG Mobility wants to widen its dealer network and will target more than 100 cities across India by 2025. This is aligned with the government’s initiatives to promote made-in-India electric vehicles under the Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative. This is further projected to enhance service coverage as well as customer interaction, in addition to growth strategies.
Commitment to Innovation
Said Gupta, the rebranding process during the course is not for just one name change, but forms part of the strategic move toward remaining above the fray in the fast-changing EV market in India. The new identity continues to be commitment-oriented toward providing full electric vehicle solutions aligned with how modern consumers think and want things done. With advocacy of these values through the establishment of OPG Mobility, is the birth of a new generation of operations and products. The new brand colour is the proof of that commitment–black from the strength and innovation, and green from the environmentally responsible.
Attracting Young Consumers
This switch to OPG Mobility is also to entice the young generation which happens to be the biggest group of enthusiastic electric vehicles themselves. The company wishes to entice users who want such innovation combined with relevance and sustainability with a modern design filled with all the modern features from the inside out.
Looking Towards the Future
Looking forward, it visualises becoming the market leader in electric vehicles in India. The rebranding is just a part of a greater overall strategy that involves adding products to a continually widening portfolio and walking on the road toward better customer journeys at every touchpoint.
OPG Mobility gears up for an inaugural expedition at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Subsequently, “a company with identity” entered into the electric vehicle movement in India. The company has a clear new identity with an emphasis on innovation.
