Mooving partners with HPCL to install 500 battery swapping stations at 22,000 outlets, revolutionizing EV infrastructure and promoting green mobility.
Battery swapping network from the SAR Group and Livguard, Mooving has signed a historic partnership deal with the Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, or HPCL for changing the skyline of the electric vehicle or EV ecosystem in India. Mooving will place its state-of-the-art automated swapping stations at more than 22,000 HPCL selling points in the country, thus increasing the option of swapping points for EV users.
Mooving and HPCL – A Strategic Collaboration
For this intense project, HPCL opted for Mooving because the latter endorses localized and indigenously developed, Make in India technology. This was after a careful assessment of Mooving’s technological competence and its ability to execute this project to the latter’s advantage, HPCL concluded that Mooving was best suited to spearhead this change.
Deployment of Advanced Automated Battery Swapping Stations
For the next year, the partnership intends to launch over 500 independently operated battery swapping stations. These advanced stations will become the most comfortable and practical in terms of usage, improving the overall EV experience, and establishing Mooving as the battery swapping segment’s pioneer. This phased out strategy would help in promotion of electric mobility in the country particularly offering support to EV users all across India.
Driving Electric Mobility Adoption in India
The company HPCL has over 22000 outlets and more than 3700 EV chargers installed in India which is fully committed to cutting down carbon footprint in the mobility industry. This association helps Mooving to utilize the outreach and product-service strategy of HPCL, setting a standard model for battery swapping and fast-track to electric mobility and hence, a sustainable economy.
HPCL’s Commitment to Reducing Carbon Emissions
In line with this partnership, Mooving and HPCL will seek to remove barriers to EV ownership such as Battery as a Service (BaaS) that comprise battery expenses, servicing, and recharging. This convenient battery swap service feature is thus spearheading the Mooving’s drive in the revolution of EV and establishing them in a stronger footing in the EV energy sector.
