The MG Windsor EV starts at Rs 9.99 lakh, offering 331 km range, advanced features, and strong competition in the EV market.
The MG Windsor EV is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. It is available in four monotone colors including Pearl White, Starburst Black, Clay Beige and Turquoise Green. The top-end Essence variant also comes with a black roof finish. Again the starting price has been set at an introductory base price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India), However, the exact prices for all these variants are still to be announced soon.

Features and Technology
In terms of tech, the Windsor EV comes with a 15.6-inches centre touch screen, an 8.8-inches digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, auto climate control with AC vents for the rear, powered driver seat and an electronic opening tailgate. In configuration also, there are added features such as a panoramic glass roof, rear seats that can be reclined to 135 degrees and a center armrest with cup holders.
Safety Features
Some of the security features implemented in the manufacture of the Windsor EV include six airbags, 360 degree camera display, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and electronic stability control (ESC). However there is no provision for advance driver assistance systems (ADAS) in this model.
Battery, Performance, and Range
It comes with a 38 kWh battery power pack with an output of 136 PS of power and 200Nm torque. According to MIDC it has a range of 331 km per charge. The battery can be charged using DC fast charging and the battery can gain up to 80% of power within 55 minutes. MG is even providing unlimited battery warranty to the first customers as well.
Competitive Positioning
To overhaul its Windsor EV, Tata Motors has launched it at a low price point to challenge other rivals such as Tata Punch EV. However, its features and specifications place it in a good standing to compete with some higher power EVs such as the Tata Nexon EV and the Mahindra XUV400 EV.
