MG Motor India delivers 100 EVs in Delhi-NCR, and launches Battery-as-a-Service, with models like Windsor and ZS EV boosting eco-friendly mobility.
JSW MG Motor India has recently crossed a landmark, it sold over 100 electric vehicles in Delhi-NCR in a single day. In its effort to promote sustainable mobility, the automotive firm released favoured car models, such as the MG Windsor, ZS EV, and Comet, affirming there is an increasing trend of consumers opting for environment-friendly transport during the festivities.
MG Windsor – Record-Breaking Bookings
The MG Windsor introduced the Indian EV market to a new benchmark because this passenger EV achieved 15,176 bookings in its first 24 hours on sale. This exceptional response demonstrates the increasing trend of people in India toward acquiring more electric vehicles.
MG Comet – Compact and City-Friendly
Specifically, the MG Comet is tailored for urban use, with a small wheelbase, short overhangs, and state-of-art iSMARD technology which includes more than 55 connected services. Contrary to the car’s small size, there is lots of space inside the Comet and thus very convenient for those with busy schedules in urban areas.
MG ZS EV – Spacious and Feature-Rich
The new generation MG ZS EV has a generously proportioned interior with over 75 useful features that can suit family car needs in terms of comfort, connectivity and usability as well as sufficient driving range. What is more, its driving range turbulence limit is 461 km which allows using the ZS EV for both daily driving and extended journeys.
Battery-as-a-Service Programme
Thus, the Battery-as-a-Service has been launched by MG Motor India to make the ownership of EVs affordable. This includes the MG Windsor starting from Rs 9.99 lakh and a battery of Rs 3.5/km for the MG Comet EV which costs Rs 4.99 lakh with a rental of Rs 2.5/km.
