Maruti Suzuki E Vitara unveiled its first electric SUV, the e-Vitara, at the Auto Expo 2025. With a 500 km + range on a full charge and comes with two battery pack options.
Maruti Suzuki introduced its first electric SUV, the e-Vitara, at the Auto Expo 2025. The company has revealed that the car will have battery packs capable of offering a range of more than 500 km on a full charge. The e-Vitara, built on the Heartect-E platform in collaboration with Toyota, will include numerous battery options and an all-wheel-drive system.
Maruti Suzuki E Vitara Price
Maruti Suzuki intends to price the Vitara between Rs. 20.00 and 25.00 lakh. Maruti Suzuki Vitara ExteriorMaruti Suzuki released a teaser showcasing the external look of the e-Vitara. The SUV has a tri-slash LED matrix daytime running light design, a sculpted bonnet, and a large front bumper with Maruti Suzuki’s logo prominently displayed. The rear and side profiles feature 18-inch alloy wheels, C-pillar-mounted door handles, a roof spoiler, and tail lamps with a lightbar design.
Maruti Interior and Functionality
The e-Vitara is likely to have a dual-tone dashboard, an integrated screen for the instrument cluster, and an infotainment system with Harman speakers. Additional design elements include a two-spoke polygon-shaped steering wheel and redesigned AC vents to improve functionality.
Maruti E Vitara: Features and Safety
The e-Vitara comes with premium features such as a panoramic sunroof, automated climate control, and ventilated front seats. There are six airbags, a 360-degree camera, an automatic parking brake with auto-hold, and a level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
E Vitara Battery Packs and Performance
The e-Vitara will have two battery options: a 49 kWh pack and a 61 kWh pack. Customers will be able to choose between two and four-wheel drive options. The battery, which weighs between 600 and 700 kilos, contributes to the SUV’s extended driving range. It comes with three driving modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports.
Maruti Suzuki intends to use the lightweight lithium lion battery pack to bring both efficiency and performance, making the e-Vitara an important addition to its electric car lineup.
