The complete pricing details including all variant specifications emerged officially from Mahindra & Mahindra regarding its anticipated BE 6 electric SUV. As an indicator of growth, the Indian company takes bold steps toward expanding its presence in the rapidly expanding EV market segment.
The BE 6 runs on Mahindra’s unique INGLO platform, which was developed by early designers for electric vehicles. Mahindra uses its EV platform to show its commitment to producing the best electric vehicle technology available today.
From February 14, 2025, Mahindra will open official booking services through their network of dealerships and website for customers who want to purchase the BE 6 vehicle. The producer begins shipping the new electric SUV to customers in mid-March 2025 with an organised delivery plan.
Pricing & Variants
Mahindra released five unique BE 6 models that help customers of all budget types find the right solution. The Mahindra BE 6 comes in five distinct product lines starting from the base Pack One through Pack One Above and continuing to Pack Two and Pack Three Select before reaching its highest-end variant Pack Three.
The different variants come with the following Mahindra BE 6 pricing.
- Pack One: Rs 18.90 lakh
- Pack One Above: Rs 20.50 lakh
- Pack Two: Rs 21.90 lakh
- Pack Three Select: Rs 24.50 lakh
- Pack Three: Rs 26.90 lakh
Customers need to consider the additional expense of buying a home charger of Mahindra BE 6 as pricing is displayed only for introductory ex-showroom values but the home charger remains an optional purchase.
Battery Options
Customers have two battery pack versions to select based on their driving requirements and mileage expectations in the BE 6 model. Customers can choose between a 59 kWh battery that delivers 231 horsepower with good efficiency as well as performance.
Those who need more capability when choosing a battery system should opt for the larger 79 kWh battery because it generates 286 horsepower. The two available battery pack setups of the BE 6 provide drivers with a shared peak torsional yield of 380 Nm which results in improved acceleration responses and superior handling abilities.
The battery options are combined with a rear-wheel-drive system. The 79 kWh battery delivers a 682 km driving distance as its primary power source but the 59 kWh battery reveals a 535 km operational range per charge cycle.
Only the Pack Three top-end version comes with the 79 kWh battery pack which offers customers the longest range capability combined with advanced features.
Pack One
The entry-level Pack One includes all the necessary features that offer a complete driving experience to users. The Pack One edition features cruise control and modernised digital dashboards containing two 12.3-inch screens with vital info and entertainment options. Additionally, it comes with Bi-LED lights with DRL technology for better visibility plus safety-tail LEDs and elegant textile seat materials.
The workforce incorporates R18 wheels equipped with aero covers to enhance effectiveness while delivering electric power steering through a variable gear ratio and providing several driving programs that include boost mode in addition to multi-step regeneration with automated settings and Single Pedal Drive technology. The safety features in this variant include driver drowsiness detection together with electronic parking brake and rear parking sensors equipped with HD camera and low tire pressure indicator and six airbags combined with all-wheel disc brakes and brake-by-wire system.
Pack One features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay plus 5G connectivity to go with its core package. It offers a Bluetooth-wired system, pre-installed entertainment apps, and apps from OTT services.
Pack One Above
The Pack One Above package develops the BE 6 design with new comfort, convenience, and style features based on Pack One elements. This variant includes the larger R19 wheels with aero covers to speed through the air more smoothly and to achieve better looks. Along with this fixed glass roof natural light streams into the cabin to create a spacious open space feeling. A TPMS system provides constant tire pressure data for better driving.
The system comes with automatic windshield defogging to help drivers see better during harsh weather plus wireless charging in the front seats in conjunction with auto-dimming interior mirrors (IRVM) and separate climate settings for driver and passenger.
Pack Two
The Pack Two variant builds upon the weaker BE 6 to deliver advanced technologies and superior features that create a superior driving experience. This variant offers Level 2 ADAS functionality plus Adaptive Cruise Control as standard safety systems.
It also includes front parking sensors for effortless maneuvering in tight spaces, front fog lamps for improved visibility in foggy conditions, cornering lamps that illuminate the road ahead during turns, soft fabric-wrapped interior elements that provide a premium and tactile feel, sequential turn indicators and start-up lighting sequence for a touch of visual flair, a high-fidelity 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos support for an immersive listening experience, NFC key for convenient keyless entry and start, rear AC vents for enhanced passenger comfort, and a rear parcel shelf.
Pack Three Select
As the Pack Three Select upgrades take the BE 6 to more refined heights it employs enhancements that bring together luxury and enhanced performance together. The version includes adaptive suspension and unique C-shaped LED lighting units that move light from the middle out.
This variant includes a leatherette steering wheel and seat trim plus touch-sensitive controls on the console and wheelbase. It has a 360-degree camera system plus a blind view monitor. Live 360-degree views come with recording options. The Auto Park feature suits automatic parking. Video calling and front-row dual wireless charging are present.
Additional beneficial details include VR LED air filtration and a VR LED system that controls the air quality.
Pack Three
The Pack Three edition stands out as the top luxury and performance model among BE 6 vehicles. This variant comes with lighting technology that shows 16 million color choices plus an augmented reality head-up display.
The vehicle includes advanced driving systems such as Level 2 ADAS with multiple radar sensors and cameras plus automatic lane change, a self-centering system, emergency steering help, and complete traffic shield monitoring.
Safety Features
Mahindra ensures road safety above all else and the BE 6 earned 5-star results when tested by Bharat NCAP with adult and child occupants. All models have essential safety systems such as seven airbags plus ESP and TPMS.
Colour Options
The BE 6 comes in eight solid paint options for customers to choose from. This model offers eight monotone finishes which include Tango Red, Desert Myst, Everest White Satin, Firestorm Orange, Desert Myst Satin, White Myst Satin, Deep Forest, and Napoli Black.
Market Competition
The Mahindra BE 6 will confront direct competition with the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Creta Electric in its market segment.
