Recently, a Ligier Mini electric car was spotted testing in India. This two-seater mini electric car, inspired by its European counterpart, comes with various battery pack configurations and offers a range of 63 to 192 kilometres on a single charge. According to reports, it could be released in India at a price of roughly Rs 1 lakh. This could be a great alternative for those searching for an affordable electric automobile.
Battery and Range
In India, Ligier Mini EVs are available in four different variants: G.OOD, I.DEAL, E.PIC, and R.EBEL. It is also available in three battery pack sizes: 4.14 kWh, 8.2 kWh, and 12.42 kWh. In terms of range, it can travel up to 63 km, 123 km, and 192 km on a single battery charge. However, no important details about its launch in India have been published yet. However, formal updates on this new model are likely to be available in the near future.
Design, Interior, and Features
The new Ligier Mini electric car will be compact and scooter-like in style. This electric car’s dimensions are 2958 mm long, 1499 mm wide, and 1541 mm high. This electric car, based on the European model, will feature only two doors. Its wheels can range from 12 to 13 inches.
The front will have a narrow grille with LED DRLs and round headlights. In addition, a tailgate with wide glass can be added to the back. There are round-shaped LED taillights. The side profile can appear sporty, and the side body cladding contributes to a rugged look.
The inside of the Ligier Mini EV will be sporty. It includes a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, power steering, a heated driver’s seat with automatic climate control, and corner AC vents. The manufacturer is expected to showcase this vehicle during this year’s Auto Expo.
