The BYD Seal EV sedan was launched in India a few months ago, available in three variants: Dynamic, Premium, and Performance. The price of such models ranges between Rs 41 lakh and Rs 53 lakh (ex-showroom). Under the festive offer, you can now get up to Rs 2.50 lakh off on the car, which makes the Seal all the more appealing to those who out to switch to electric cars. Such a promotion is to promote the use of EV by offering an attractive discount that will only be available for a short period.
BYD Seal EV Festive Offers
Those buying the highest variant of the car, the Seal Performance, can avail incentives worth Rs 2.50 lakh consisting of a cash incentive of Rs 2 lakh and a three-year service and maintenance cost of Rs 50,000. For the hither mentioned Premium variant, the offer is as high as Rs 1 lakh. After the discounts, the Seal Performance variant is priced at Rs 51 lakh, ex-showroom.
BYD Seal EV Battery and Range
Standing on BYD’s superior e-platform 3.0, the Seal is equipped with two battery types using BYD’s blade battery technology. The base 61.44kWh battery powers a 201bhp electric motor and offers a mileage of 510 km. The Performance has a 523bhp dual-motor drivetrain topped up by an 18.8 kWh battery pack which gives it a range of 580 km and it can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in 3.8 seconds. Through a 308bhp motor, the Premium variant affords as much as 680 km range.
BYD Seal EV Design and Features
The Seal is 4,800mm in length and features the company’s Ocean Aesthetics that give it an advanced, aerodynamic look. The car comes equipped with a functional 15.6-inch touchscreen display, a 10.25-inch digital panel for the driver, wireless connectivity technology for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, 10 airbags, auto emergency braking system and a 360-degree camera.
