Gensol Electric Vehicles to reveal its compact EV EZIO at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo and promised green solutions for mobility transport.
Gensol Electric Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., a company under the Gensol Engineering Limited umbrella, is hitting the headlines for an unmatched launch event during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, hosted in New Delhi from January 17 to January 22, 2025. GEVPL proudly introduces yet another pioneering offering to the Indian market: an innovative compact electric vehicle known as EZIO. This marks yet another milestone in the Indian EV ecosystem since this event will be game-changing for urban citizens nationwide.
Introducing EZIO
EZIO is the all-new two-door, two-seater electric vehicle representing all modern designs and technologies, engineered to meet the challenge of urban commuting, particularly in today’s megacities, the traffic of which is becoming an increasing fact of life. GEVPL believes that such a response will redefine urban transport and offer a compact vehicle that incorporates several developments on the scale of being the first in the industry to improve efficiency and sustainability. EZIO is announced as a solution in alignment with India’s commitment to a carbon-efficient and clean energy future.
Step Towards Sustainability
EZIO is meant to show a larger picture for a very near zero-carbon future in transport as it was made while other cities around the world faced issues surrounding pollution and traffic. Anmol Jaggi, the Managing Director of Gensol Engineering Ltd., perhaps placed a rather high note on the launch by saying, “We are proud to showcase EZIO at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. This vehicle is an audacious step toward building a reasonably sized EV for the Indian marketplace.” Designed to be a powerfully intelligent replacement for traditional vehicles, EZIO would pretty well find an audience among the urban population.
Manufacturing Excellence
The EZIO will be built at Gensol’s cutting-edge greenfield facility at Chakan, Pune. This factory has an annual capacity of 30,000 units and is well-placed for GEVPL to capitalize on the demand for compact electric vehicles in India. This facility also testifies to the quality and strategic gearing of Gensol is gearing up to increase production levels as the lion’s share of electric vehicles continues to roll out in public.
Innovation at the Expo
Attendees of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will no longer have the privilege of witnessing the EZIO in display booths. They can visit the Gensol EV booth, where EZIBOT, the electric concept cargo vehicle, symbolises future possibilities in urban logistics. Visitors can see such innovations as an irreversible contribution to transforming India’s transportation system.
Financial Performance
Gensol Engineering Limited has shown an outstanding growth curve over recent years. According to the latest half-yearly results, net sales have surged up to 49%, from ₹ 710 crore, and net profit has risen to 52%, hitting ₹50 crore. This shows Gensol’s pretty good strategy in earning revenues through different sectors like solar energy and battery storage systems (BESS). With a visibility of total revenues of around ₹10,382 crore, Gensol finds itself in a very strong position for further growth.
Clean Energy
Founded in 2012, Gensol Engineering Limited has since remained a prime mover in green energy solutions. The company is behind many completed solar projects worldwide and has now extended its products in its portfolio such as electric vehicles. Gensol has leased more than 3000 electric vehicles catering to passenger and cargo transport and aims to further enhance the options for sustainable mobility in the country.
Looking Towards the Future
Gensol Electric Vehicles will emerge as one of the essential parts of the green transition narrative as India moves on the way to greener avenues. The EZIO being launched at such a major expo will not just be a product but a statement towards more sustainable modes of urban transport. It is an ideal and timely project among all the activities of GEVPL as one witnesses the growing awareness of environmental issues inclined with the push from the government to promote EVs in India.
Introducing the EZIO at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo will mark a new and exciting page for Gensol Electric Vehicles and for the Indian EV market as a whole. The EV would be cutting-edge in making people view the urban transportation plan differently, sustainable, and resource-efficient in design. It will break the traditional pattern of urban transportation and at the same time contribute to India’s decarbonisation goals. Eventually, cities evolve and adopt modern-day realities; this would be one of the crucial strides towards creating a future where urban mobility is cleaner and indeed more efficient than the present path.
