Bajaj GoGo EV launched at Rs. 3.26 lakh, 251 km range, three variants, more feature-rich, sporty performance for sustainability.
In a monumental change to the EV landscape in India, leading Indian automotive brand Bajaj Auto has finally launched its dedicated electric three-wheeler brand, Bajaj GoGo. The GoGo series will be offered in three variants—P5009, P5012, and P7012- and was launched in Lucknow. With a focus on specialised passenger or cargo transportation based on advanced technology and strong performance, the GoGo range is set to cover all the bases.
Affordable Pricing
The Bajaj GoGo comes with a competitive price tag, with the P5009 costing Rs. 3.26 Lakh and the P7012 model costing Rs. 3.83 Lakh (ex-showroom). Bookings are currently open for the models at Bajaj Auto dealerships in India. Now, if anyone is interested in the GoGo P7012, you can avail yourself of it for a down payment of Rs. 24,999.
Variants Explained
There are three variants in the GoGo lineup, which are the P5009, P5012, and P7012. P is for passengers, and the numerals indicate size and packs. P5009 gets a 9 kWh battery, while the P5012 variants get a 12 kWh battery for more range. The P7012, specialised for heavier weights, is the strongest. Each one of these models comes with different pricing and range specifications.
Impressive Range
Another highlight of the Bajaj GoGo EV is its driving range. GoGo series is claimed to have the segment-highest range of 251 km on a single charge. This incredible range will prove to be a magic stick in the trades, particularly for business ventures that depend on electric three-wheelers for last-mile connectivity. The range per charge comes in at 171 km for the P5009 variant and 251 km for the P5012. These figures position the GoGo EV as one of the most usable electric cars currently on offer.
Efficient Transmission
Bajaj GoGo comes equipped with a two-speed automated transmission, which ensures a smooth driving experience with smoother and more effective acceleration. More recently, we met the transmission system that assists in both better climbing capabilities — particularly on steep roads — as well as further translating into the vehicle’s superior range. A first in the electric three-wheeler segment, the two-speed system gives the GoGo segmentation-defining performance and efficiency.
Enhanced Safety
Safety is very important for Bajaj, and this GoGo series comes equipped with all advanced safety features. These comprise an auto hazard warning system that automatically switches on when the automobile decelerates and deep anti-roll detection technology that maintains the vehicle in a secure mode in tight turns. It also comes with a full-metal body along with LED lights to improve visibility in the dark for added safety.
Durability Focus
GoGo targets the daily commute in India with heavy-duty components & parts. This full-metal body also makes it stronger and also makes it a more robust build quality device that suits your commercial needs. Additionally, GoGo features a regenerative braking system that captures energy during braking to charge the battery, promoting longer life and lower total cost of ownership.
Long-Term Reliability
The GoGo series also offers a five-year battery warranty for extra peace of mind for customers wanting long-lasting assurance. This warranty is a testament to Bajaj’s confidence in the quality and durability of its electric three-wheelers. And it also greatly strengthens the GoGo’s viability as an ITM individual traveler for both business and leisure.
Performance Details
Under the hood, the Bajaj GoGo is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous(PMS) motor that delivers seamless performance. The P5009 variant produces 36 Nm of torque and 4.5 kW of power, whereas the P5012 model produces 5.5 kW of power with the same torque. These power ratings will help the GoGo EV cater to the demands of city and semi-urban driving conditions.
Comfort & Features
The Bajaj GoGo is not only a workhorse when it comes to performance and practicality but also offers a comfortable environment for its passengers. Inside the vehicle, it gets dual-tone upholstery, a digital LCD instrument cluster, and a glove box. Additionally, the GoGo includes a mobile charger for USB Type-A-enabled devices for use while traveling.
Telematics Integration
TecPac is optional for P5012 and P7012 variants for Rs. 3,200 more. Features in this package include hill-hold assist, anti-theft alert, and park assist. The integration of telematics will enable EV owners to monitor vehicle performance and obtain remote diagnostics so that they can keep their electric three-wheelers in top shape.
Future of GoGo
With a radical line-up of electric three-wheelers, Bajaj GoGo replaces the company’s previous electric autos and is a bold move for the company into the market. Bajaj plans to leverage the increasing demand for electric mobility solutions in the country with the GoGo series. With improved range, performance, and safety, the GoGo is a future-ready solution for an evolving sector.
