Ather Energy delivered the Rizta electric scooter with its first multi-language interface which adds regional support to provide better user interaction.
The Indian electric vehicle market gets its first multi-language interface with dashboard technology unveiled by Ather Energy for its Rizta electric scooter. Through the new dashboard update users can select their preferred language to interact with their scooter directly from multiple available choices. Through its unique project, Ather Energy pushes forward with Indian electric mobility to deliver services that promote accessibility and personalized ownership.
Multi-Language Feature
Ather Rizta riders will experience enhanced overall use through the new dashboard interface which supports multiple languages. From this update, customers can access important scooter information and manage dashboard features using their selected language. The multi-language dashboard will launch in Hindi followed by Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada over the next three months according to Ather Energy Chief Business Officer Ravneet Singh Phokela. He highlighted the significance of language for personal identity.
Mr. Ravneet Singh Phokela stressed during an interview that “This interface exists to acknowledge how language creates powerful emotional bonds with individual users. The integration is not meant to fix any problems.” In India, language is identity. Through our interface, our customers gain the freedom to converse with their scooters in ways that bring them authentic personal satisfaction.
Consumer Demand
AudioSwitch created its multi-language dashboard based on factual studies revealing native population usage of local content at 98%. The Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI) in collaboration with Kantar revealed in their 2024 study period that 98% of Indian internet users engaged with Indic language content.
Phokela explained that launching the Rizta scooter since it targets families enables Ather to efficiently increase its market share. The futuristic update will become available on initial Rizta models because Ather plans to gain enough user knowledge before deploying it across its product range.
OTA Updates
The multi-language interface gets deployed to users through a software update from AtherStack which is the company’s proprietary software engine and works over the air (OTA). The update will automatically reach all current Rizta Z users and those who recently purchased this scooter through AtherStack without requiring physical visits to service centers.
